Volunteering
Make a difference, while supporting the conservation of Costa Rica’s largest private reserve! Since its inception, the MCL has valued the contributions of volunteers in helping us achieve our mission: Preserve, conserve, and rehabilitate tropical ecosystems and their biodiversity.
Our volunteers help us with:
- Trail and building maintenance
- Environmental education
- Customer service
- Social media
- Species monitoring
- Recycling
- … and more! **
** The work to be completed depends on several factors, including but not limited to: place of work, specific experience and abilities of the volunteer, current needs of the organization, and weather.
Requirements for volunteering:
- 18 years or older
- Provide proof of medical insurance valid in Costa Rica
- Initiative, ability to work independently
- Ability to follow instructions and work as a team
- Make final payment one month prior to arrival
